Linda Wheatley

Linda is responsible for BMG compliance and is based in Leeds. She has transformed our organisational culture around compliance and sustainability over the last 10 years. With a team across the UK, Linda is front and centre of all policy implementation across the company.

Linda monitors all quality, environment, health and safety systems, annual accreditations and client questionnaire portals to ensure continued certification for the business. She also monitors the internal and external audit programmes for the regions working alongside the Central Admin team.

Linda joined BMG in March 2006 as office manager of our Leeds branch, where her role was to look after every aspect of the day-to-day running of a busy office. Since then, Linda has successfully completed the QMS Internal Auditor Course, IOSH Managing Safety, GDPR, Mental Health Awareness, Modern Slavery courses and has trained and mentored other members of staff in implementing our Quality Systems. She progressed to the full-time role of group quality systems manager in January 2015, and was appointed as compliance director in October 2015. Since then she has successfully achieved upgrades on all three ISO standards.

When not at work, Linda enjoys walking with her two beagles, reading, socialising with family and friends and is a dedicated Leeds Rhinos fan.
