Colin Barker

Colin has been with BMG for almost 30 years and is based in Leeds. He is a loyal, dedicated and hardworking Yorkshireman and his love for competitive sports is reflected in his working life. Colin has progressed through the company from porter and driver, to operations manager, and now branch director. He is also a senior board member.

Since joining the senior leadership team, Colin has been an integral part of the restructuring of our central operations. He is a strong believer in personal development and has coached and mentored staff throughout his career to ensure the same opportunities he enjoys are available to others.

Colin’s passion for life and belief in anything is possible has been passed to his six daughters, who from humble beginnings are now flourishing in their own chosen paths of motherhood, academia and successful careers.

Colin is a sociable man and loves to spend time with his friends and family. He works hard to support his local community with charity events and volunteering, and has made extra efforts to support the housebound and vulnerable during the pandemic.
