RSK Group, a leading provider of environmental, engineering, and technical services, appointed Business Moves Group (BMG) to manage the relocation of its Glasgow office at St. Vincent Place to Redwood House in Belfast.
The project, completed in October 2025, required a large-scale cross-channel move within an exceptionally tight timeframe. From the initial enquiry on 2 October to completion on 10 October, BMG planned, managed, and delivered the entire relocation in just eight days.
BMG worked closely with RSK’s internal stakeholders from the outset to design a relocation plan that would allow teams to transition smoothly between locations with minimal disruption.
The project covered the end-to-end management of office furniture, including dismantling, removal, transportation, and reassembly. A dedicated move manager coordinated resources, schedules, and communications throughout. BMG also liaised directly with customs authorities to ensure the secure and compliant transfer of goods between Scotland and Northern Ireland, maintaining a continuous logistics flow.
On 7 October, our trained relocation team arrived at the Glasgow site. Building access routes were protected, and a condition survey was completed before dismantling and loading furniture onto BMG vehicles. The following day, the convoy travelled from Cairnryan to Belfast via ferry, with all items monitored and secured in transit.
Upon arrival at Redwood House on 9 October, the team prepared the site with protective measures before unloading, assembling, and positioning all furniture to RSK’s floorplans. Items including meeting pods, desking, boardroom suites, and storage units were installed with precision to ensure the workspace was fully operational by completion.
A full walk-through with RSK stakeholders took place on 10 October to verify that every aspect of the move met requirements before handover.
The relocation was delivered on time, within budget, and without disruption to business operations. Every item arrived safely and was installed as specified, with both offices left clean and ready for use.
