It will be hosted by Ian Baker, director and founder of Humans and Places.
All attendees will receive a comprehensive summary post-event.
We have a limited number of spaces; if you'd like to take part or attend, please email Mai@businessmoves.com and put Hackathon in the email title to book your place.
Rachel Houghton, MD at Business Moves Group, will be part of a panel discussion at 2.30pm on 8th April.
Beyond the Surface: Unpacking Sustainability in Asset Management for a Greener Future
This session dives into the environmental impact of workplace assets, shedding light on key concepts like carbon management, net zero, and carbon neutrality, and how these connect with broader ESG goals such as biodiversity, wellbeing, and social equity. Attendees will gain insights into the hidden carbon impact of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (F,F&E), which can account for 30% of a building’s carbon footprint over its lifecycle. We’ll explore actionable strategies like lifecycle extension through asset tracking, refurbishment, and reuse, alongside the emerging role of technology and regulations, such as the EU’s ESPR legislation and Digital Product Passports, in driving sustainable practices.
Make sure to attend to get the latest insights from a variety of experts.
Fancy yourself as a geography expert? Test your global knowledge with our interactive Geoguessr challenge at our stand. You’ll see three different locations and guess where they are, with points awarded the closer you are. We’ll add up your three scores and keep a leaderboard throughout the event, with £500 worth of prizes to be won.
We look forward to seeing you there!
